Typical timelines
Bain's official guidance is that applicants can expect to hear back within 60 days of applying. In practice, campus cycles move much faster because Bain processes applications in batches against a hard interview-week deadline, while experienced-hire timelines depend on office-by-office hiring need and often stretch closer to the full window.
Outcomes are delivered by email from the Bain recruiting team, not from TestGorilla. A 'pass' invitation will include an interview scheduling link. A 'no' is usually a short, templated note. Bain does not share scores or section-level results either way — that is consistently reported by candidates.
When to follow up
If the 60-day window has passed with no response at all, a polite follow-up to your recruiter is appropriate. Keep it to two sentences confirming continued interest and asking for a timeline. Don't follow up more than once.
